My name is Paulette Arochena and I am a young freelance artist based in the United Kingdom. I specialise in painting cute and whimsical characters that warm the heart. Although, I also work with other medias, I prefer Digital Illustration.
I am currently studying Illustration at the University of Hertfordshire.
I’m always looking for ways to improve my work and experiment with different aspects of the subject all the time. I’m currently developing understanding in the anatomy of my characters to involve greater depth into my paintings. I deeply thank the staff at The Ruskin School of Drawing & Fine Art for helping me ‘see things in a different light.’
Although it is not my favourite expressive media, I have worked on digital photography, specialising on portraiture.
I also hope to increase awareness of endangered species through my work. You may be able to tell that I’m very fond of pandas.
Apart from this, I’m quite down to earth and enjoy all sorts of things from Figure Skating to Fashion. Ice cream is also good… even on cold days.
