I’m having a great holiday so far
went Luging, Minigolfing yesterday. got sunburnt, crispy panda ^_^
hope you’re having a good holiday too!
my holidays were nice. had some bumps along the way, but my oldest sister came to visit and so did my middle sister, and their families.
my living room was FULL lol
I enjoyed my holiday a lot, I spent it with my boyfriend and his family which was lovely, a big dinner, lots of presents, a lovely bobble hat and books, and some piggy slippers! We watched 1950’s Scrooge too! I love quiet Christmases!!
I’m off with my boyfriend to my parent’s house in a week for my birthday and to see my sister, who is expecting her baby in February. I think Im looking forward to the New Year more than ever!!
I retweeted
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
I would love to tell you the best christmas story, but unfortunately I can’t.
Its the time of the year where I realise the most that my mom isn’t happy, she’s always so tense during the holidays and is unable to even pretend everythingt is okay.
Besides that I just tends to get bored to the bone.
Sorry, no happiness from me today
I will see my friends tomorrow though, and that will be awesome.
I’ve had great holidays so far, even with the sudden heat wave and lack of snow
The best part was decorating the tree and almost knocking it down.
Hope they’ll continue to be great, since I’m traveling for New Year to a different country and I really want everything to go well.
Happy New Year!
This has been a trying but wonderful holiday season for me. I work online but my sales that we depend on to supplement our income took a 67% loss in sale due to the recession this year. This has made thing tough. To help make up for it my husband has been working as much overtime as possible, up to 80 hours a week. Not having him home to help out with all the kids is difficult. Compound that he is just beat now when he gets home and has little time for any of us doesn’t make matters any better.
We have sucked it up for the sake of the big picture. Trying to give the kids a great holiday season. Well, 2 of them are from a previous marriage so they had to spend Christmas Eve and most of Christmas Day with their biological father. That left the home rather empty… Compound that my husbands paycheck got delayed till Christmas Eve made shopping for presents a larger chore than we had expected and the fact there was a major problem (the over time was not on the check), we were forced to try to re-budget to just be able to get any presents for the kids.
Even with all of this we were still able to have a great Christmas. The presents were few, none for ourselves, friends or relatives – those will have to come later, thankfully everyone is understanding. No big Christmas dinner. (Which for us is rare, with the hubby being a Chef, people expect us to be the place to be for Christmas Dinner.)
Just a few gifts for the kids were under the tree. We picked them up at 3p.m. Christmas Day and headed back to our home.
Even with the small number of presents and no big dinner, it was fabulous! The kids were more excited than I had ever seen them before on Christmas. The house was warm and loving. We spent the rest of the day playing with the few presents they had and flipping between A Christmas Story and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
Seeing the smiles on their face and having the hubby off for the evening was the best Christmas present I could have gotten, or so I thought. They all ended up jumping me, giving me big hugs and telling me they loved me. Even the baby went – My Mama! It was adorable.
This was the most strapped we had ever been for Christmas and a huge change from last year. We had so much last year it took up most of the living room but I don’t think it was any better.
This year because of lack of money and time we cherished what we had so much more. It just re-enforced what I told my mother years ago. I would rather be happy and poor than rich and miserable.
This ranks as a top 10 Christmas ever for this family and I think next year I may just hide the bank book and make things tight next year as well, hehe.
Merry Christmas!
Well, Christmas is my sister’s birthday, so on Christmas Eve we opened out Christmas presents, and on Christmas we celebrated her birthday. She turned 13 and we got her an Intuos4 tablet, and she’s been enamoured with it ever since.
My birthday is on the 30th and I turn 18, so my holidays don’t end at Christmas. I’m going to Las Vegas with my boyfriend and his family to celebrate New Years as well.

Christmas was just like any other day for me, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I spent the day eating Christmas candy and chocolates and cookies my friend baked for me. I got money, holiday cards, and mint fudge cookies. My mom, sister and I went out to eat a Christmas dinner. It was enjoyable
My holiday season was amazing this year. I didn’t used to believe in Christmas miracles, and I feel a little silly, but it’s the only thing I can think of to explain it. I’m head-over-heels in love with this amazing horse, who I’ve gotten to know over time, and vice versa. It came that she would follow me around in and out of the paddock (meaning, if I walked from the front of her stall to the paddock, she’d follow me, and so on). I love her so much – but just over nine months ago, she disappeared and I never saw her again – until December 21st, the day after solstice. My dad’s family did a little “ritual” that day, and we all made wishes. I made one last wish to see that horse again, and hoped I could let her go in the new year. The very next day, I received a text: she was back. I reunited with her on the 22nd, and I still can hardly believe it. This has been my best Christmas for as long as I can remember, and I’m extremely grateful for it.
It’s nice of you to do this giveaway. Happy New Year!

I got some lovely Christmas pressies, nice warm jumpers and pefumes.
Thank you for the new year giveaway. x
Hey
Mostly because of the gifts
I got a pair of boots, amber earrings, and MONEY ^^ But I think most of that will go to next semester’s college fund… I’d like to help my parents out since dad doesn’t have a job anymore (and I don’t have time to get a job right now since I’m busy with classes >_>)
My vacation was ok so far…I absolutely love Christmas
Ok, so other than that I like making snowmen
and visiting friends and family ^^ I went to see my grandparents on the 25th, and we (me and dad) showed them how to use a digital frame we just bought them
) Grandma loves technology…she has a mobile phone and she actually uses it
Oh, and mom got her this…glowing christmas tree. You plug it in and the tips of the branches and some ornaments on it glow gradually in different colours O_O It’s pretty
Hmm…For New Year’s I’ll be going to a friend’s apartment and spend it with her and 3 others
It’s not gonna be a wild exciting party xD but I like hanging out with my best friends <3
Happy holidays to you, and good luck everyone! ^___^
